We Skipped the Stools and Built a Store
If you’ve never been to Tech Week, the standard event looks like this: a few people sit on stools, pass around a mic, and answer questions, followed by drinks and networking.
For NY Tech Week, we decided to go a different direction.
We rented a retail space in Soho for the full week and built an experiential popup. The main attraction was a robot barista voiced by our models. Next to it, retail assistants powered by ElevenAgents let you haggle for discounts on merch. We also built a jukebox you could live prompt with ElevenMusic and a photo booth with filters powered by ElevenCreative.
The space was open to the public during the day, then turned into a venue for executive dinners and creator meetups in the evenings.
The venue was one block from our office, so the team could pop in and out. And because it was available all week, our GTM team could host prospects whenever it suited them, rather than being limited to a single evening.
The result was an incredible brand moment, and it also generated eight figures in pipeline.
